I am finding the shakes make me feel very bloated – I am sensitive to wheat products so could it be the yeast in the powder?

Hi Alison, it’s inactive brewers yeast, which is easily confused with traditional yeast, so you won’t be getting a reaction from that. You may very sensitive to dairy, so it would be worth looking at the 180 Vegan formula instead. Cheers, Guy

Hey Gillian… Thanks for the question. There are many variables to be able to answer that, and the first thing that springs to mind is how well an individual athlete has become fat adapted to then pull out the sugars and gels etc?

Your best place to start would be to listen to these two podcasts, who are the best examples of fat adapted endurance athletes I’ve ever seen! Sami Inkinen and Meredith Loring. Both podcasts are available on iTunes too if you would rather listen to them in your car etc.

        Hope that helps, Guy
