Want to feel intelligent? Surround yourself with people who are smarter than you. (In my case, not that difficult)

Richard Branson once said; make business, but more importantly life, fun. Be a team player. But if you are the brightest spark in your team, then you’re asking for trouble. Good advice I thought. Would I rather an hour with Branson or an hour with someone who’s on the dole, and will happily give me free advice on how to make a million? No brainer.

So in my field of work, health and fitness, I’ve always kept an open mind and looked at what people have to say in their area of expertise. And the more I learn, the more I realise I haven’t learned, and further down the rabbit hole we go!

But from all this learning and unlearning, the one thing I have learned from working with people day in day out in my industry, is that, what we think governs our actions. And our actions govern whether we eat an apple or muffin, turn a frown upside down, sit on the couch or walk around the block. Then the exercise makes us feel good, which helps us think more positive, which encourages us to eat that apple instead, and all this good food we eat then lifts our energy, which then encourages us to exercise more, then we think more positive, and round and round it goes so to speak. The cycle can get stronger or weaker. Am I rambling?

All these things fascinate me, and I’ve always surrounded myself with people who love what they do, and who know way more about it than I ever will.

So I’m very happy to announce two good friends of mine:

Tania Flack of Natural Health Solutions & Eleasa Mullavey of Thriving minds. (The fine ladies pictured above. Tania’s on the left of me, and Eleasa is on the right).

The girls will be joining me in the monthly newsletter, and making guest appearances on the blog as we get our message out there, and explore an industry with many misconceptions and basically over marketed tripe.

If you like the idea of this,  and want to feel more intelligent like me, feel free to join us as all’s welcome.
