180 nutrition low carb keto bread recipe

Stu: Are you following a keto diet but still have cravings for bread? This low carb keto bread recipe is so simple to make and tastes great too. Just don’t enjoy it covered with strawberry jam 🙂

Ingredients: 10-12 slices

  • 7 large eggs (free-range & organic are best)
  • 1/2 cup melted ghee
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tbsp sea salt
  • (Optional) Handful of chopped nuts & seeds to finish

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a standard loaf tin with baking paper.

Crack the eggs into a large bowl and beat them for around a minute (a hand mixer works best but a whisk will do if you fancy a workout). Now add the melted ghee and mix together thoroughly.

When you’re happy that you’ve done this start to add the remaining ingredients and mix together until you have a nice thick consistency. Pour the mixture into your loaf tin, sprinkle the chopped nuts and seeds on top and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the loaf is golden brown.

Let the loaf cool for a while and we’d recommend slicing it all and storing it in the fridge.

TIP: Add more nutrition to the loaf by including 2 scoops of 180 Protein Superfood Blend.
