Lynda: Oh wow, this smoothie is my new favourite. It’s creamy, delicious and is packed full of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iron. How so? Well it contains the superfood Maca, cacao and macadamia nuts. Macadamias are also a great source of healthy fats and have around the same amount of the health-promoting monounsaturated fat, ‘oleic acid’ as olives.
Too many reasons to try it 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp macadamia nuts
- 1 tbsp organic peanut butter (or favourite nut butter)
- 1/2 ripe pear
- 2-3 coriander seeds
- 1/4 cup baby spinach
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1 scoop 180 Nutrition Protein Superfood (I use vegan coconut)
- 1 tsp Organic Maca powder
- 1 tsp Organic Cacao
- Handful of ice-cubes
- 1/2 cup purified water
Method
- Blend all ingredients together and enjoy.
