Over to Andrew.

Hey guys, this is Stu from 180 Nutrition, and I am delighted to welcome Andrew Genovese to the podcast.

Andrew mate, how are you?

Andrew

01:31

Beautiful man. I’m just coming off a really, really just awesome day, just got off a powerful live, and then have another podcast straight after this. So I’m actually coming off a three-day men’s retreat this weekend. That was one of the most inspiring things that I’ve ever done in my entire life. So I’m actually quite on a high at the moment. So, yeah.

Stu

01:55

Right, well share some of that energy, that’s the sure. But first up, for all of our listeners that may not be familiar with you or your work, I would love it if you could just tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey, please.

Andrew

02:08

Beautiful. Yeah. Perfect. So man, my name is Andrew Genovese and I’m a dimensional breathwork teacher, plant medicine guide, nutritionist, healer. And yeah, ultimately, I help guide people into wholeness, and oneness, and alignment within themselves just working with the energies in the body. And bringing just a combination really of all my knowledge of energy and breathwork, and spiritual knowledge, and a background, from my guru, of a lot of ancient yoga knowledge coming from India.

Stu

02:41

Right.

Andrew

02:41

So I just really combine all of that into really guiding someone for whatever they may be going through, whether it’d be health issues, or… Most of the people that I work with though, are generally at a stand still where they need change. And so we work together and we move them into a really beautiful place in their life. And I empower them not to need me, but to give them all the tools that they need to really realize that they are loved, they are compassion, they are powerful, and they already have all those tools with inside them. So…

Stu

03:21

Excellent. Well, I look forward to digging a little bit deeper, I think, today. So for my first question then, dimensional breathwork teacher, tell us a little bit about dimensional breathwork because I haven’t used or heard that phrase before.

Andrew

03:34

Yeah, definitely. So yeah, dimensional breathwork actually came through in a meditation. That’s how it came to be. And the reason why it’s called dimensional breathwork is because in my ceremonies, in my workshops, my online sessions, we go very deep. And through breathwork, we can access the same multidimensionality that we can in plant medicine, that’s obviously being used by millions of people all over the world, of people who are diving deep into the plant medicine world to ayahuasca, and psilocybin, peyote, and iboga, all these different plant medicines.

So in breathwork, we are accessing the same dimensions, the same mechanisms that we already have, this inner healing intelligence, this inner healing wisdom that we all possess. And that’s how we can have these profound experiences of meeting the soul of a loved one who we lost, or having this connectivity to all plants, or the ocean, or all beings on the planet. And when we have these experiences… And I’ve seen so many different things in my sessions, in-person and through Zoom, but it’s a feeling that someone can’t cultivate in words. Sometime the breather is left speechless after a session because of the feeling of being loved for the first time in their whole life after accessing this inner wisdom that we all hold, is so beyond words powerful.

And in my breathwork, we use a series of nose breathing. So we use a series of pranayama, and different modalities of breathing, whatever is wanting to come through that day. And then the majority of the session is done in corpse pose in Shavasana, kind of in ceremony fashion, blindfolded, but breathing in through the mouth and just really cultivating a lot of chi energy flow prana life force into the body and just breaking up a lot of the stuck energy and energetic blockages that people carry in the body.

And so what a lot of these energetic blockages can eventually manifest as is disease because they’re pushing against tissue and cartilage in the body. And that’s why we see so many people, in this now moment, leaving their body through heart disease and heart attack. It’s because they have so much energy, so much stuck energy in the body that needs to be released, that wants to be released so badly, and this can manifest as disease. So that’s why so many people, people I’ve worked with and anyone who’s in naturopathic medicine, they go to doctors and they just don’t get an answer.

Stu

06:36

Yeah.

Andrew

06:36

They can’t help you because they don’t understand this concept, and that is energy and trauma. And this is one of the most vital things to understand if you’re a healer, or a doctor, or whatever, because so much of the time where you’re stopping all these emotions with our free will, we don’t want to feel into this anxiety. We don’t want to feel into this grief of losing a loved one that we’ve just experienced, but by raising our awareness and our consciousness through the breath, we can get rid of a lot of these energetic blockages. And the profound changes I see in people just from breathing is just insurmountable.

Stu

07:15

Wow. Yeah, keen to learn more. So I’m thinking about the naysayers, and right now they go, “Well, why would I pay attention to breathwork because I’m breathing all the time. So how is my breath right now, how does that differ to the power that you’re talking about that can be unlocked through different type of breathing?”

Andrew

07:38

Right. Well, there’s so many different awarenesses that we can bring into our daily life through breathing, through meditation, through breathwork, or breath play as I like to relay it to some of my clients like, “Hey, don’t look at this as work or something challenging. Look at it as from a childlike energy and something playful, something to have fun with.”

Stu

08:00

Yeah.

Andrew

08:01

But bringing more awareness and consciousness into our life through the breath has nothing but just astronomical positive benefits. I mean, from the moment the newborn child exits the mother’s womb, and that is when the newborn takes its first breath, that’s when the soul enters the body.

Stu

08:25

Mm.

Andrew

08:26

And when we leave our physical body, we stop breathing. So it’s no coincidence that source has made us be able to elevate our awareness and our consciousness through our breathing and bring more presence into our life. And through literally just a three to six month breathing practice, we can get rid of… Are you ready for it?

Stu

08:48

Yep.

Andrew

08:50

70% of the toxins, heavy metals and impurities, in the body through a three to six month breathing practice every day.

Stu

08:58

Wow. So let’s dig deeper into that then, because I’m particularly interested in… And we’ve spoken on the show before to experts around heavy metal toxicity, and all of the protocols and practices and strategies and tools that we could utilize to be able to try and shift those toxins.

Andrew

09:19

Okay.

Stu

09:20

But I haven’t ever heard it from a breadth perspective, so I’m super keen to learn more about that. How do we start to shift toxins through breath?

Andrew

09:31

Yeah. So I’m going to explain what’s happening in the body when we’re breathing after 15 minutes, or an hour, or whatever at a time rate, after a certain allotted time. so as we start to just feel our body full of prana, full of the life force, this kinetic life force is what moves the planet. It’s what moves planet earth. It’s what moves all planets and 200 billion galaxies. So for these people that are thinking that it’s ideal to be wearing a mask, you’re literally stopping your entire immune system, endocrine system, autonomic nervous system, and central nervous system from working. So this is what you’re doing by literally breathing into something and breathing in your own CO2.

Stu

10:22

Mm. Yeah.

Andrew

10:23

Your breath is your life force. It’s what literally… It’s the reason why you’re alive. So yeah, let’s take a conscious breath right now.

Without your breath, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Stu

10:41

Mm.

Andrew

10:41

We wouldn’t be alive. It is of the essence. So as we start to do breathwork, after 15 minutes, 30 minutes, all 60 trillion of our cells begin talking to each other. They begin communicating. And in our DNA, source put in our DNA this incredible ability to heal through breathing. So we already have it wired within us, but one will never access it if they don’t have the awareness and the consciousness to go, “Huh? Wow. I’m hearing so many people talk about it, maybe I should give that a go. Maybe there’s something to this breathwork thing?”

Stu

11:20

Yeah.

Andrew

11:21

So as all of our cells begin to communicate, they’re talking to each other and they’re telling you exactly what you need on a mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual level. So you don’t need to say, “I want to heal this.” Your body already knows how to do that. You already carry this inner healing wisdom. So the body’s just doing a… And as I said in the questions before we started, the body’s essentially doing a deep cleaning of all the cell walls and all the cells in your body. So you could put it this way, here’s the cell, when you do breathwork, you’re removing

12:00

… moving that muck or those toxins, those impurities, you’re removing that from the cell, and you’re replacing it with light. Okay? Because that’s all we are. We are just pure energetic beings. We are electromagnetic beings. If you were to look at my hand under a microscope 500,000 times, you’d see an atom.

Stu

12:22

Mm-hmm (affirmative). Yes.

Andrew

12:23

Sorry, you’d see a molecule. 750,000 times you’d see an atom. 1 million times under a microscope, energy. Just empty space. That’s it. So having this deep [innerstanding 00:12:37] of how the body works, it’s just like, yeah, of course we can reach this deep altered states of consciousness and profound healing through the breath. It’s everything. It’s literally why, it’s the kinetic life force that moves the planet. And one of the biggest reasons I believe, in my own opinion, is one of the biggest reasons why we’re seeing this profound shift of consciousness and so many people waking up, is because of the breath.

Stu

13:07

Hmm. So talk us through what that might look like from a breath strategy perspective. Is it something that I need to allocate an hour to each day? Or is it something that we can just switch on when we’re feeling a little bit wired, just to focus on breath, to pull us back into the space where we need to be?

Andrew

13:34

Yeah, absolutely. So obviously in our society, right, we’re so busy, there’s so much going on. Well, I would like to do that, but I don’t really have time for that time. I don’t have time in the mornings to do breathwork practice. And my answer to that would be, “Breathwork is the only thing you’ll do that will refund your time.” That’ll actually refund your time. And on a scientific level, when we breathe, our DNA, okay, the DNA looks like a shoe string on the end, and they’re made of little telomeres. So when we do breathwork, we’re actually extending that shoe string of the telomere that our DNA is made of. So what does that mean? That literally means scientifically, we have the science to prove, that we actually extend our life through breathwork, through meditation. And that is so, so, so powerful. That means that we can take our own life, our own health, back into our hands.

So what I would recommend for the listeners, really, is you don’t have to do an hour a day. You don’t have to do 45 minutes a day. When you first wake up, don’t give your power away by checking your email, by checking your phone. First thing you do is just get in your computer chair, get into lotus pose, get on the edge of your bed, and just do 10 minutes of breathing. 10 to 15 minutes of breathing is what I recommend. And you can do whatever style you feel called to, but just get really just centered and grounded, move your awareness into the body, bring your hands to your stomach. And just … just breathe deeply into your belly. And you’ll start to feel the tingling sensations and the alive-ness that you’re bringing into your body. And that’s all of your cells going, “Oh, thank you. Okay, yeah, we know exactly what to do now.”

And you’re bringing this cleaning, like I talked about, that the cells start talking together, and they start doing their work in a subtle way and start getting rid of the 1000s of chemicals, that the moment we walk out our door, and even in our house, there’s toxicity everywhere. It’s everywhere. From planes, from trains, from car exhausts, from fungicides, pesticides. I mean, it’s everywhere. It’s even in our pillows, it’s on our couches. It’s the paint on our wall. So me personally, I use breathwork as a preventative maintenance practice to constantly be getting rid of the heavy metals and the toxins that I’m coming in contact with on a regular basis.

And then throughout your daily life, we can just stop what we’re doing and just close our eyes when we have a moment. Just take five easy breaths. That’s it. And even just taking those five easy breaths brings a level of awareness into consciousness and to just, “Okay. I’m right here. I’m present with whatever I’m doing, with whatever I’m feeling.” And then we can tap into that an hour later, 30 minutes later, or three hours later. Or whichever. I often have clients I work with sometimes set alarms. And it helps a lot. They’re like, “Dude, the alarms help a lot, because it just reminds me like, ‘Oh, it’s time to breathe.’ And I take 10 breaths. And then I continue.” And just this practice of literally just taking 10 breaths, and taking a minute and a half can have such a profound change in someone’s awareness and bringing more-

Stu

17:20

Brilliant.

Andrew

17:20

… consciousness and awareness into their daily life.

Stu

17:23

That’s excellent. That’s excellent. So the fanatics out there will say, and I put myself in that camp, “Should I incorporate just nose, mouth? Do I put any holds in there?” Like what’s the optimal, if I really wanted to get the best bang for buck out of my breaths?

Andrew

17:43

For sure. So it’s kind of like a loaded question, right? When I work with someone and I say, “You know what? No matter what you’re doing with your breath, if you can bring awareness and consciousness and really just close your eyes and feel into the body, you’re in the right direction.” All right. But ultimately, throughout our daily life we always want to be nose breathing. We have a filtration system behind the nose that’s actually quite large. It’s larger than a golf ball. And it filters out so much of the toxins and impurities. So if we’re walking around on the street, walking to our job in the middle of Sydney, and cars everywhere and there’s exhaust, and just so many toxins, when we’re breathing into the mouth.

And one thing that you’ll notice, next time you’re out in public, we can always notice someone who’s 60, 80, 100 pounds overweight, 20, 50 kilos overweight. They’ll almost always be breathing in through their mouth. And I’m here to tell you that it is impossible to have perfect health if you’re a mouth breather. It’s impossible.

Stu

18:57

Hmm. Interesting.

Andrew

18:59

Because there is no filter. When we breathe through our nose, these muscles are essentially flexing. They’re staying tight. So you’ll actually see a person look 10 years older who’s been breathing through their mouth all their life, because these muscles stay tight, we have an infiltration system, and there’s a reason why the ancient yogis going back four or five, 10,000 years ago knew to always breathe in through your mouth. And I’m going to put it out really simple. Your nose is for breathing. Your mouth is for eating and drinking.

Stu

19:34

Okay. Okay. Sounds good. Now, you mentioned ancient yogis, and I know that you lived in a tribal village in south India, which intrigues me. And so a couple of questions to throw at you on that standpoint. Why did you go, and what did you learn?

Andrew

19:57

Wow. Stewart, to try to unpack three months of four to eight hours a day of living with a man who lived in a cave for 11 years is like nothing I could even try to cultivate in words, but I’m going to just go ahead and try.

Stu

20:19

Yeah.

Andrew

20:20

So when I was there, it was just profound beyond my wildest imagination. I was living in one of the oldest, the second oldest mountain range on planet earth, and a very, very, very sacred land. And some of you who might have done a little bit of yoga might recognize the name Shiva Shakti. Well, these beings were walking these mountains tens of thousands of years ago. And so the energy, just the pure energy of this land, just like we were talking about before, Stuart, the energy of Byron Bay just is special, right?

Stu

20:57

Yes.

Andrew

20:57

There’s just something special about it. So the same goes for where I was in the Mullayanagiri Mountains in India. My guru would say, “Some families will come here. They’ll have a week booked, and they’ll only stay two nights because they can’t handle the energies of how potent and how intense they are.” So just from me being there for three months alone and doing four to eight hours a day of yoga and mantra and meditation and breathing and journaling, and just so much introspection. We are so programmed to believe that love, that happiness, that wholeness, is in something, it’s in a giant house, it’s in a partner, it’s coming when I get that big salary.

Stu

21:54

Yes.

Andrew

21:55

It’s already in you. It’s already within you. So when someone says, “Oh my gosh, I just can’t really … Meditation is so hard for me. I have a hard time sitting with myself.” And I say, “Well, okay. Let’s dive deeper into that. Why do you think that that is?” Because, yeah, that’s right. Because you are only sitting with yourself. So that means there’s something about yourself that you feel uncomfortable with. Am I right or am I not right?

Stu

22:24

Mm-hmm (affirmative). Yeah. Totally.

Andrew

22:27

So we are so programmed to seek validation and love outside of ourself, when all of us have this thing, and it’s called the universe. We are a divine and manifestation of the universe, of source energy, of God, the ether, whichever word resonates with you. And we are finding that out in this now moment in 2021 how divinely connected we all are, with the plants, with the animals, with the beings, with all sentient beings. We need all of them to function and to operate in that. So the experience that I had in India was beyond profound, the synchronicities that I was seeing with my own eyes, and some of the things that are just too profound to share, they wouldn’t make sense to a lot of people.

And it was just, I was literally living in an entire different frequency and vibration. And what was so beautiful was, as I started to walk around the tea plantations and the tribals started to recognize me, and they were saying like, “Wow, this guy has been here for a pretty long time.” And they would see me meditating on rocks in different parts of the tea plantation, and doing riding and interacting with … not many of the people spoke language, but we communicated through smiling and through a subtle nod and through a subtle namaste,

Andrew

24:00

Good afternoon. And as I was there longer and longer, the smiles grew bigger and bigger as they started to really recognize me and welcome me. And I sensed a sense of gratitude for me, really just being immersed in their culture.

And I’m going to tell you that one of the most special days of my entire life on this planet was my very last day. My cook came to me about two weeks before I left. And he said, “Andrew, in two weeks firewalking ceremony.” And I was like, “Wait, what?” I was like, “There’s a firewalking ceremony.” He’s like, “Yes, [Saruja 00:24:41], Saruja.” I was like, “Oh, your wife, Saruja, she’s going to be walking on the fire?” I was like, “Oh my God.” I was like, “Okay, I’m going to…”

So I extended an extra day so I could make it. And to try to explain this, Stewart, would be impossible. But I had never experienced anything like it in my entire life. The tribals. So the chief picks 45 people in the tribe to walk on the fire and they fast for, some 10 days, some 28 days leading up to the ceremony.

And it’s all devotion to Shiva Shakti, to God, to source, whatever you want to call it. And the emotion of the tribals just dancing ecstatically, all dressed in tribal loincloths. It’s so hard to put into words, but when I was watching them, tears just kept flooding down my face. Because all of a sudden I started just remembering all the experiences and all the different emotions I was going through. And realizing that how proud of myself I was of what I had just experienced.

And just unable to comprehend what I just did in these mountains and what I had learned. And I had never felt more love and gratitude in that moment, in my entire life, just to be there and witnessing this practice that’s been done in these mountains for thousands of years.

And so, that’s just a small little snippet of what I was experiencing when I was there.

Stu

26:21

Wow. Fantastic. I can only imagine. When I was younger, I traveled through India for about three months and it was such a colorful and diverse experience. From the tea plantations of Darjeeling, I guess, to the Ganges as well and all the way through to Rajasthan and the deserts. There’s so much happening there that really does just light the imagination. I had never experienced anything like that at the time coming from London, just radical stuff. So I can only imagine if you dialed into the spiritual side of things, would have been next level, for sure.

Andrew

27:02

Yeah. I mean, and that just land, just like Byron. Right. It is just a magical place. I believe you could spend a lifetime traveling India as a country.

Stu

27:13

Yeah.

Andrew

27:13

I mean, there’s that much to dive into and learn. If you were to go just learn the art of tantra and yoga and meditation and breath. And it’s just, it’s such a special place.

Stu

27:13

Totally.

Andrew

27:13

Such a special place.

Stu

27:30

Totally.

Andrew

27:30

I am so glad that you got to experience it.

Stu

27:33

Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. Long time ago, but I still have the memories crystal clear in my mind.

Andrew

27:40

Yeah.

Stu

27:40

Were there any particular take homes, anything that you really attached to from your experiences over there that you bring into each and every day? Or is it just more of a generalized awareness of just experience?

Andrew

27:58

Yeah. Stewart, when I came back from India, I was not the same person.

Stu

28:05

Right.

Andrew

28:07

What I had learned there from my guru and my guru’s 100 year old mother, who was India’s first female researcher ever in the 1940s. And she was one of India’s first female doctor. I can’t even put into words what she would have gone through in India, in this male driven society, to become one of India’s first female doctors in the 1940s. That’s how special and incredible this woman was. And I got to meet with her and talk with her for a couple hours, three different times.

Stu

28:41

Wow.

Andrew

28:41

We had just a beautiful soul connection. And so yeah, the things I was able to take back from India, couldn’t even really be expressed in words, what it did for my soul. I had find out that I had a past life in India in those mountains as a Yogi. So, that came through when I was there.

Some people may be like, “Wow.” Some people might not know about past lives, but yes, we do incarnate hundreds, thousands, possibly thousands of times. This is what’s happening. And we are multidimensional beings and this physical body is not who we are.

And that segues perfect into what I am about to say. So really it allowed me to get so disconnected from my physical body, spending that much time in just silence and meditation and self-reflection. And literally just… And it was breaking out of this conditioning that I always have to be doing something.

Stu

29:41

Yes.

Andrew

29:41

We have to be achieving. We have to be saving. And the fact is, is that we’re not human doings. We are human beings, human beings.

Stu

29:50

Yeah.

Andrew

29:53

And so what it always brought me back to, was the breath. Every time I felt anxious or, “Oh, I need to be doing something.” Or, “Oh, I’m not supposed to be here. Am I even in the right place?” I always brought it back to the breath.

It always was bringing back to presence myself, knowing that the whole universe is just right here and it’s not out there. And breaking free from this conditioning that I had to be somewhere that I had to be doing something else, or starting something with business or working something.

And so, it was a constant practice and such a powerful tool for one thing, and that is surrender and just letting go. And what more powerful tool could you bring into your life in 2021, than just letting go and surrendering to the process? So, that’s what it ultimately gave me. And I’ll forever eternally be grateful for my soul in this lifetime for that experience.

Stu

30:58

Wow. You must be… Yeah. What an experience. I can only imagine. So, thinking about other practices then, perhaps that we could combine with breath work. And we look at health in a holistic framework. And we talk about four pillars, which are typically nutrition, movement, mindset, and sleep.

Andrew

31:24

Yes.

Stu

31:24

Feeding into the body. And obviously, we’re living in a very, very unusual times today with all of the distractions under the sun, I guess, fused into this one little model that is the mobile phone. That continues to knock on our shoulder when we’re trying to enjoy nature or whatever we’re trying to do.

How could we take breathwork to the next level in your perspective? Perhaps with the outcome of just long-lasting health and happiness. And I’m talking about, well, mindful eating, mindful exercise and movement, things like that.

Andrew

32:11

Stewart breathwork is something that for example, someone could come on this podcast and go, wow, that was really a exciting lesson. I loved it. But is it really worth my time? I don’t know if I’m still convinced. This term consciousness.

Stu

32:28

Yeah.

Andrew

32:29

So if I was to say the word consciousness around a bunch of people who are not conscious, it’s not going to resonate.

Stu

32:36

No.

Andrew

32:36

Because they are not conscious. You have to be conscious to understand the term consciousness. So, the benefits of breathwork are pages, pages, and pages and pages long of what you get just from breathing 15, 10 minutes a day. And bringing more awareness and consciousness into your life.

I mean, if someone was to literally ask me, “Andrew, why are human beings here? Why are we here on planet earth?” I would say this one thing. And that is to remember that we are love. It’s to become conscious. It’s to literally bring awareness and consciousness into every avenue of life. And that physical body, this physical vessel, allows us to do that.

And it’s only through bringing more presence and awareness and spiritual practice, whatever that means to you. And that can be through Tai Chi, through qi gong, through energy movement, through dance, through breathwork. But obviously, there is a reason why the Tibetans, why the ancient Mayans, the Incas, the Egyptians, and all in some way, they incorporated breath into their practice.

Stu

33:54

Yeah.

Andrew

33:54

Some much more heavily than others, the ancient civilizations incorporated to it, but it was all incorporated in their teachings and in the scripts. Because breath is life. The breath is the gateway to all realms of consciousness.

So, it’s something that you could hear, right, but you have to experience it. You have to have this experience of what it can do and not just try it two days and go, “I haven’t noticed an experience, so I’m just going to just put it to the side.” Well, the ego always wants instant gratification. Always. It goes, “I want to try breathwork for one week and I want to see miraculous results.” And you know what? That might be the case for you.

Stu

34:44

Yeah.

Andrew

34:46

It’s going to be different for every person.

What would you think then in terms of timing to be able to… And I know it’s really hard because if you’re continually hoping and wanting and expecting to see results, then you’re probably going to be in the wrong mindset.

Andrew

35:06

Yeah.

Stu

35:07

You’re not going to be feeling and listening and experiencing and enjoying the moment. You’re going to be outside of that moment. But from a time perspective, if let’s say for me, I was going to say, “Right, I am going to dedicate 10 minutes a day, maybe twice a day, just to sitting down. I’m just going to feel myself breathing in and out. I’m going to try and switch off.” How long do you think that it would take until I felt like that was something that had to become a habit because it was so powerful to me?

Andrew

35:43

Right. Well, what I find breathwork does, is it just brings us back to the now. We’re not living in the past, not living in the future, but now. And that’s all there is, is this now moment. So, especially when we can start

36:00

Our day with not doing anything. Like I mentioned before, going to our phone, going to our laptop, starting new dishes, whatever it is, when we can just start our day with breathing, right away we have ignited our entire central nervous system. The central nervous system is like a giant freeway in our body. It’s the wiring, it’s the electrical wiring in our entire body.

We basically put that on hyperdrive when we do that, so we send this entire calm to our entire body. If we wake up anxious or overwhelmed, we’re automatically flipping the on switch and going from anxious, and we’re going from the sympathetic to the parasympathetic. To start our day like that every day, the way I see it is it can’t not have a change in your life if you make that a practice after two months, three months, four months.

Like I said, for every person it’s different. I mean, I’ve literally had in my dimensional breathwork sessions, my private sessions, in person I let go about two hours, but my group Zoom sessions go an hour and 20 minutes. The profound changes that happen in people can’t even be expressed in words. I literally have one guy that did three sessions with me and he had a connectivity to the ocean and realization of how important all the fish and the reefs were. To try to just explain this is literally like a sprinkle on a cupcake. It doesn’t even scratch the surface because he was the one who had that experience.

He went on to do three to two more sessions with me. After that, he had all these realizations that he was a divine manifestation of source, and that he was a spiritual being, having this temporary human experience and everything he had been taught was an illusion. All the systems are meant to control us. He left his job like three weeks later and he started doing woodwork and creating art. He was like, “Dude, I’m forever thankful. I’m so thankful for you, Andrew. You literally changed my life.” I’m like, “Brother, that’s beautiful and I’m so happy to facilitate for you, but you’re the one who did that.”

Stu

38:21

Yeah.

Andrew

38:22

You did that, because you’re the one who had the awareness to say, “Hey, I’m going to listen to the signs and I keep seeing these signs to try breathwork, and I’m going to go for it.” That was his experience. To see that is just so profound, of what his experience was in such a short time.

Stu

38:41

Well, I certainly think it’s a strategy that everybody can try effectively and easily at home and any time. At work, out and about, wherever we are, we can do it. 180 Nutrition has been growing for the last decade and breathwork has only been getting more and more and more and more attention from all of the guest experts that I’ve spoken about over the course of that time as well. So, absolutely, I understand what you’re saying. I’m reinvigorated to dial into that even more. I think certainly from the year that we’ve just come from and the year that we’re going into now, I think everybody needs to sit down and breathe. I think it’s only going to be beneficial for everyone.

Andrew

39:43

Absolutely. You simply just can’t not benefit from having a breathing practice every day. What it does for your digestive system, your immune system. Like I said, before your energy, what it does for your overall frequency and the prana the life force that flows through you. You could literally eat, for example, a piece of Swiss chard, and then you eat a Dorito. That Dorito is dead food. It’s chemicals, it’s toxins. Through eating the Swiss chard, breathwork, we’re breathing, we’re bringing in that life force, that energy into our body, bringing in more immunity and vitality. The biggest difference that we’re going to see, I believe, moving forward into these coming months in these coming years, Stuart is the difference between people who have spiritual connection and who don’t.

One of the biggest ways of doing that is through breathing and meditation. It’s through literally getting disconnected with associating that I am my house, I am my apartment, I am my car, I am my $90,000 a year salary. You aren’t any of those things. You aren’t any of those things. Those are just something you do in the part of your life. I just find that with people I work with, they start to dissociate. Through that, comes awareness and consciousness, and start to just bring in the bigger picture of the other 99.9999999% of the universe that exists out there, and not be so fixated on everything that we see in the physical.

Stu

41:28

Totally. Yeah. No, absolutely right. It’s good advice. We’re almost at time, so I’m keen to know what’s next? What’s next for you this year? What have you got in the pipeline?

Andrew

41:42

There’s just a lot of beautiful co-creation and co-collaboration happening with just so many other lightworkers and light warriors in the community. I got off a live right now with Dr. Seth Gerlach, who’s doing amazing work. I just feel so grateful and inspired to be just connecting with so many beautiful lights. It’s now the time to just unite and really just see everyone’s work as divinely beautiful and powerful. I’m just really excited. I don’t know who’s going to come into my life, what partnership, what new things are going to be on board. But yeah, I know some big stuff is coming for me in the years as my platform continues to grow and grow and grow and more and more people need spiritual guidance and healing through these times, which many, many, many people are.

The nearest thing is this Saturday, February 6th, Saturday, 5:00 PM. I am hosting a dimensional breathwork session where 100% of the proceeds are going to fight human trafficking. Last session I donated $1,476 to fight human trafficking.

Stu

42:55

Fantastic.

Andrew

42:56

I’m really looking forward to it. The sessions, I’ve been getting a lot of just people inspired and a lot of attention, and it’s been really, really fun. So that’s, what’s in the near future. In the far off future, possible some big train healing facilities and the plant medicine and yeah. Wherever source guides me and my partner, that’s where we’re going to go.

Stu

43:21

Fantastic.

Andrew

43:22

It’s an extraordinary time to be alive right now and I just can’t wait to see what the future holds. We’re ready. Let’s do it.

Stu

43:29

Let’s do it. Absolutely. For everybody then that wants to connect with you and find out more about all of the classes that you run, and the information, and just dig deeper into your world, where can we send them?

Andrew

43:42                    Yeah. You can find me at andrewgenovesehealing.com and you can also find me on Instagram @breathehealevolve, just breathe, heal, evolve. So that’s where I put out a lot of my work and yeah, I’m looking forward to hopefully catching some of the people on the breathwork sessions. They’re just so powerful and so transformational for the soul and the spirit.

Stu

44:05

That’s fantastic. Well, look really appreciate your time today and especially sharing all of your experiences from India and everything else that you’ve experienced thus far. We’ll put all of the links that we’ve spoken about today in the show notes, and look forward to spreading this out across our audience as soon as we can. So, Andrew, thank you so much for your time.

Andrew

44:27

Awesome. It was a pleasure to be with you, brother.

Stu

44:29

You take care. Thank you.

Andrew

44:31
