Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 heaped tbsp of Whey Protein Isolate (Vanilla)
- 1 tsp Maca Powder
- 1 green apple
- Dash of cinnamon
- Drizzle of maple syrup
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees
- Chop the apple in half and pierce skin with a fork a couple of times
- Line a tray with baking paper and add apple to tray
- Light coat the apple in maple syrup and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon
- Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes or till caramelised
- Bring a pot over medium heat. Add oats, milk and half the water. Stir consistently
- Once the mix starts to bubble and thicken, add the rest of the water to thin, stir to combine
- Scoop out the flesh of 1 half of the baked apple and add to the pot
- Add protein powder and Maca powder. Stir to combine
- Once desired consistency is reached, serve the oats in a bowl, topped with the other half of the baked apple
