Stu: Start your day right with a breakfast that’s beneficial for your gut health. Think bananas, nuts, seeds and berries with the healing properties of Collagen and L-Glutamine. It’s as easy to prepare as a smoothie and will quickly become your favourite breakfast option š
Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 1/2Ā ripeĀ avocado
- 1 medium banana (not too ripe)
- 1/2 cup mixed berriesĀ (strawberries/raspberries work well)
- 2Ā large handfulsĀ spinach
- 1Ā small handfulĀ kaleĀ (stems removed)
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbspĀ flaxseed meal
- 1 serve Collagen Powder
- 1/2 tsp Pure L-Glutamine
Topping
- Handful of nuts (walnuts work well)
- 1/2 sliced banana
- Handful of seeds (sunflower & sesame)
Method
- Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Add more coconut milk (or water) to thin if required.
- Pour into a breakfast bowl and add toppings
