Gut Friendly Breakfast Bowl

Stu: Start your day with a breakfast that tastes delicious and is also gut friendly. Think bananas, nuts, seeds and berries with the nutritious properties of Collagen and L-Glutamine. It’s as easy to prepare as a smoothie and will quickly become your favourite breakfast option 🙂

Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 medium banana (not too ripe)
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries/raspberries work well)
  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 small handful kale (stems removed)
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 1 serve Collagen Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pure L-Glutamine

Topping

  • Handful of nuts (walnuts work well)
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • Handful of seeds (sunflower & sesame)

Method

  1. Add all smoothie ingredients to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth. Add more coconut milk (or water) to thin if required.
  2. Pour into a breakfast bowl and add toppings
