The Blueberry & Coconut High Protein Super Meal Replacement Shake

Stu: Keira Rumble has done it again with this super-healthy blueberry and coconut high protein meal replacement shake. This one is heavy on the coconut which is great as it’s one of natures finest gifts (great for fat burning too).

Keira: My love affair with coconuts (in particular coconut oil) is getting pretty serious… It seems to have made its way into pretty much all of my recipes. The core ingredients of this little shake have made their way in to my post workout morning ritual, it fuels me for my morning, keeps me full, and most of all, is extremely delicious. I do tend to mix up my shakes depending on what I have in my cupboard, I also reduce the amount of fruit in these shakes if I haven’t had an intense workout before consumption. So stay tuned for some more super meal replacement shake recipes.

Ingredients:

  • 5 almonds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • Water from 1 whole coconut
  • 1/4 cup of the flesh from the coconut
  • 1 ½ tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons LSA
  • Dash of flaxseed oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 blackberries
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 heaped scoop of 180 Natural Protein Superfood (coconut)

Method:

Chuck everything in a blender, blitz for about 3 minutes. If the consistency is too thick, add more normal water, until just right. Enjoy!
