Tis the season for shortbread cookies! Try out this quick and easy recipe created by The Functional Joint using 180 Superfood nutrition protein, available both in-store and online. 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 & 1/2 cups almond meal
- 1/2 cup 180 protein powder
- 1 & 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- Three squares of 80% dark chocolate to drizzle (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl to form dough
- Roll the dough between two sheets of baking paper
- Use Christmas Cookie Cutters to cut dough into shapes
- Place cookies onto baking ray and bake in the oven for 12-13 minutes
- Once cookies have completely cooled, melt the chocolate and pipe onto the biscuits. Enjoy 🙂
